Visit to Parliament House, Canberra (14 March 2012)

Five members of Climate Scientists Australia visited Parliament House for the fourth time, to provide an opportunity for members of parliament and senators to ask questions about any aspect of climate change science. In addition to private meetings, they gave a lunchtime briefing focusing on the outcomes of the conference 4 degrees or more: Australia in a hot world, which was held in July 2011. They were joined by Dr Peter Christoff, the convenor of the conference.

Green Screen: Climate Fix Flicks film competition (entries close 10 Feb 2012)

Climate Scientists Australia is a supporting partner for this film competition, which aims to raise awareness about climate change and the benefits of moving towards a low carbon future. Climate Science & Risk in the Boardroom (28 May 2009)

Members of Climate Scientists Australia presented at this workshop, which addressed the widespread uncertainty about how the private sector can best use climate science, and in what format does it need to be delivered to be most effective and to be integrated into strategic business and investment decisions. The workshop was organised by Clayton Utz and The Climate Council Inc.
